The band's one-of-a-kind sound combines the rhythms of the African Diaspora, such as Reggae, Calypso, Compa and Zouk, with lyrics that reflect family, culture, heritage and community. From the beginning, Stann's goal was to maintain his African-Caribbean-American heritage and culture through voice, music and dance in order to heal and reach with sound and movement. Nominated for the Chicago Music Awards' "Best Reggae Band" in 1999, |

![]() "As yodelers go, Erwin is tops."
"Randy Erwin... has one of the most versatile, far-ranging voices this side of Bobby McFerrin."
This is a sound clip from Disney's "Home on the Range" soundtrack CD. Listen to "Yodel-Adle-Eedle-Idle-Oo" to hear some of Mr Erwin's yodeling in the movie.

House of Blues Records tapped Lynne's talent for its 1997 all-star tribute CD, "Songs of Janis Joplin: Blues Down Deep,". Delmark Records 1996 hit CD, "Women of Blue Chicago," features Jordan belting two blues classics. Blue Chicago Records' 1997 blues women CD, "Red Hot Mamas," showcases Lynne covering Janis Joplin and Ruth Brown. |

| 7:30pm | TNT | |||
![]() A gutsy, powerful R&B/Soul band with the ability to excite an audience from the first downbeat. This ten man line up of seasoned pros has come together for one reason: a love for the R&B sound with soulful vocals, a funky rhythm section, and a killer horn section. TNT has been together since January of 2000 perfecting their sound while recreating the performances of the R&B acts that started it all. They perform authentic covers of songs from bands like, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Tower of Power, and the Strokeland Superband. TNT performs each song with such a passion for the original "soul" sound, that you'll feel those same emotions when you first heard those songs. |

Inspired
by the lonely migrant troubadours of the Delta of the 1930's, Bob plays
tunes of John Lightning Hopkins and Mississippi John Hurt. Mocked as
being sorta "Peter, Paul and Mary return to their Louisiana roots and try to get funky," it takes a lot of gall to even consider doing this on
an empty and unlit stage. |

| 3:00pm | Illinois Brass Band | |||
![]() Inspired by the fall 1990 tour of the Desford Colliery Caterpillar Band, George Foster and William Homer founded the Illinois Brass Band in March 1991 under the direction of Bruce Briney. The band was formed in the tradition of British brass bands and is dedicated to bringing the finest brass band music available to audiences throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest. Band members include volunteer musicians from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. no sound clip available |

RIKA's powerful, versatile, and highly entertaining dance show band can be found performing their blend of Latin music at clubs, dances, conventions, festivals, and private events throughout the Chicago land area. BANDA RIKA's music repertoire consists of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata. In order to create the spicy, jazzy sounds of Salsa, and the tantalizing rhythmic percussions of Merengue, the band is composed of a 10-piece Orquesta and a two person front line.
