  5:00pm Roots, Rock Society

The band's one-of-a-kind sound combines the rhythms of the African Diaspora, such as Reggae, Calypso, Compa and Zouk, with lyrics that reflect family, culture, heritage and community. From the beginning, Stann's goal was to maintain his African-Caribbean-American heritage and culture through voice, music and dance in order to heal and reach with sound and movement. Nominated for the Chicago Music Awards' "Best Reggae Band" in 1999,

7:00pm New Invaders

The New Invaders are truly "New," as this inspirational 60's rock review ushers back in the fabulous era of BRITISH rock and roll with major new players!

Powerfully packed with an incredible sound and theatrical touch, The New Invaders roll out the red carpet with their classic style and repertoire of classic hit songs! Each band member is a professional worthy of the stage, bringing to life an inspiring reflection of days gone by.

The New Invaders will take you on a journey that will never be forgotten. Song after song, note for note, hold on to your seat as they take you back in time to an explosive and historical musical time period unlike any other! The sound, the look, and the visual nostalgia brings the journey to life!

8:30pm Randy Erwin

"As yodelers go, Erwin is tops."

  • David Zimmerman - USA Today

"Randy Erwin... has one of the most versatile, far-ranging voices this side of Bobby McFerrin."

  • Don Heckman - Los Angeles Times

This is a sound clip from Disney's "Home on the Range" soundtrack CD. Listen to "Yodel-Adle-Eedle-Idle-Oo" to hear some of Mr Erwin's yodeling in the movie.

9:00pm Big Guitars from Memphis

"The only band I'd get out of bed to see...and made a dream come true."
-Lin Brehmer WXRT, Chicago

"How did those Big Guitars get up so early and play so well...they sound great!"
-Pete Townsend (The Who) interview on Kevin Mathews

"The best guitarist in the Midwest"
-Steve Dahl WCKG, Chicago

"Truly a fabulous musical experience and quite simply...they rock."
-Buzz Kilman WLUP, Chicago

...Americana music performed by musicians who have recorded and performed internationally...a wide variety, from rockabilly and surf to swing and jazz. From Roy Orbison and Elvis to country ballads and high-speed hillbilly instrumentals, they sure are gonna entertain you!

Saturday
  1:00pm Randy Erwin
Kids Show: Folklore, Legends & Music w/Trick Ropin.
2:00pm Randy Erwin
Adult Show: 80 Year Journey of Country/Jazz & Blue Yodeling
5:30pm Lynn Jordan and the Shivers

Powerhouse singer Lynne Jordan has sung everything from Bach to rock -- from big band and blues to gospel. House of Blues Records tapped Lynne's talent for its 1997 all-star tribute CD, "Songs of Janis Joplin: Blues Down Deep,". Delmark Records 1996 hit CD, "Women of Blue Chicago," features Jordan belting two blues classics. Blue Chicago Records' 1997 blues women CD, "Red Hot Mamas," showcases Lynne covering Janis Joplin and Ruth Brown.

7:30pm  TNT

A gutsy, powerful R&B/Soul band with the ability to excite an audience from the first downbeat. This ten man line up of seasoned pros has come together for one reason: a love for the R&B sound with soulful vocals, a funky rhythm section, and a killer horn section.

TNT has been together since January of 2000 perfecting their sound while recreating the performances of the R&B acts that started it all. They perform authentic covers of songs from bands like, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Tower of Power, and the Strokeland Superband. TNT performs each song with such a passion for the original "soul" sound, that you'll feel those same emotions when you first heard those songs.

10:15pm Voyage

Classic Rock: Journey, REO, Styx, Bon Jovi, Great White, Ozzy & More

Sunday
4:30am Not Appearing By Popular Demand
Inspired by the lonely migrant troubadours of the Delta of the 1930's, Bob plays tunes of John Lightning Hopkins and Mississippi John Hurt.  Mocked as being sorta "Peter, Paul and Mary return to their Louisiana roots and try to get funky," it takes a lot of gall to even consider doing this on an empty and unlit stage.
  3:00pm Illinois Brass Band

Inspired by the fall 1990 tour of the Desford Colliery Caterpillar Band, George Foster and William Homer founded the Illinois Brass Band in March 1991 under the direction of Bruce Briney. The band was formed in the tradition of British brass bands and is dedicated to bringing the finest brass band music available to audiences throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest. Band members include volunteer musicians from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

  7:30pm Band-A-Rika

BANDA RIKA is a latin band, primarily based out of Chicago's western suburbs. RIKA's powerful, versatile, and highly entertaining dance show band can be found performing their blend of Latin music at clubs, dances, conventions, festivals, and private events throughout the Chicago land area.

BANDA RIKA's music repertoire consists of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata. In order to create the spicy, jazzy sounds of Salsa, and the tantalizing rhythmic percussions of Merengue, the band is composed of a 10-piece Orquesta and a two person front line. BANDA RIKA's complete entertainment show and versatility really offer a refreshing change to today's other musical choices.
